A beautiful concert made in the historical amphitheater of Carthage. We were listening to the divine music of Trio Joubran in a religious silence, and above this the tender voice of Mahmoud Darwish came from heaven to feed our souls with his sophisticated words.
A sublime instrumental dialogue, between the brothers and Youssef Hbeich (the batterist), let them exchange emotions with the audience. Each one of their notes was beating our hearts.
It was ”In the Shadow of Words” to make ”The Presence of Absence” became real. Oh lord, the eternal words of Darwish exalted us… brought us to Eden.
The musicians’ fingers were touching carefully the ”Oud” to educe magnificient melodies. As if it was a lady showing off her charm in a virtuous way. With such an amazing show, Carthage became more than Paradisiacal.
A tasty trip to the Paradise showed us the deep effect of Free words, the divine love of the Home and how grandiose is the Power of melodies.
